Z&A designed the conversion of this 128,000 sq.ft. commercial building into 65 residential condos for the NYC luxury market. The project is a gut rehab including all new MEP, new elevators & machines, top quality custom windows and facade restoration. Finishes were selected by Piet Boon to include Belgian limestone floors and wainscoting, wide plank oak floors, Bulthaup kitchens, and Dornbracht plumbing fixtures from Germany, and Flos Lighting. Appliances are Miele. Sciame is the construction manager and the construction value is $65 million.
Zaskorski & Associates designed the restoration of the Polly Chromatic Terra Cotta decorative medallions and frieze, located across the uppermost stories as well as the
renovation of both of the Facades including brick masonry restoration, terracotta window lintels and pointing and cleaning of the building.
