The main chapel of 12,000 SF with 35ft high ceilings, is adorned with murals, limestone arches and arched stained glass windows. To the south, the church is attached to a brick rectory building, allowing interior access from one building to the other.
Inspections of the church’s masonry facade, roof and windows revealed deterioration due to age and water damage. Zaskorski & Associates conducted extensive field investigations of the building, detailing the scope of the repair and restoration work required. The work included masonry, parapet, window and roofing repairs. To facilitate bidding on the project Zaskorski & Associates also created detailed spread sheets delineating the 20+ needed repairs with the square footage for each repair, keyed in and corresponding to construction drawings for each building.
