Facade assessment & F.I.S.P. report

Z&A performed the mandated Cycle 9 FISP (Façade Inspection Safety Program) investigation in 2021 for this 16 story apartment building in the Landmarked Upper West Side Historic District, and documented all areas requiring repairs. The next step in 2022 was to prepare planning documents to assist ownership in developing a phased scope of work package that will repair the building’s exterior in phases over the next 10-15 years. In 2023, Z&A prepared drawings and specifications for the first phase of repairs for contractors to bid, as well as for regulatory filing with the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) and with the Department of Buildings (DOB). In 2024, Z&A worked on the Construction Administration (CA) for the first phase of façade repairs so that the building could address all conditions noted in the Cycle 9 FISP report and perform additional repairs recommended in the planning documents.
